We handle these quickly
Check your email — we send a copy with the PDF attached right after purchase. Search for 'Rebate Scout Report' in your inbox (and spam folder). The email includes a permanent link to view your report online. If you still can't find it, email us with the email address you used at checkout and we'll resend it.
Our estimates are based on the information you provided and current program rules. High-confidence credits (like the federal solar tax credit at a fixed 30%) are very accurate. Credits that depend on factors we can't fully assess (like property tax appeals) show a range. We err on the conservative side — most users find they qualify for at least the amounts shown.
State programs change frequently — sometimes weekly. If you notice something outdated, please email us. We verify all program statuses and URLs regularly, and we'll update it right away. This kind of feedback genuinely helps us and other users.
Yes. If your claimable credits don't exceed the price you paid, we'll refund you — no questions asked. Just email us. We also offer refunds if you're unsatisfied with the report for any reason within 30 days.
Most credits in your report can be claimed yourself by following the step-by-step instructions. For straightforward credits (homestead exemption, HOMES/HEAR rebates, solar tax credit), the government portals are designed for direct filing. For more complex situations — especially if you have unusual income sources or business use of your home — consulting a CPA is worthwhile.
After purchasing your report, you'll get a personal referral link. Share it with friends — when they purchase their own report, $12 is automatically refunded to your original payment method. You can earn up to $36 back (3 referrals).
State rebate programs (like HOMES and HEAR) open and close constantly. When you sign up for alerts, we monitor your state and email you when a program changes status — new funding rounds, waitlist openings, application deadlines. It's free, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
