City of Dallas portion: $175,000 exemption for homeowners 65+ or disabled, combined with 20% homestead exemption.

Harris County Appraisal District
100% property tax exemption on homestead for veterans with 100% VA disability rating or individual unemployability.

Tarrant Appraisal District
Additional $60,000 school district exemption for homeowners 65+ or disabled, on top of $140,000 general homestead. School taxes frozen at level when you turn 65.

City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality
Connects Dallas homeowners with programs for weatherization, energy efficiency, and renewable energy upgrades. Provides financial assistance through tax rebates and connects to utility incentive programs.
